Peter Daniel worked through the book 'Crossing the White Line: The Walter Tull Story' with the children (see Resources). The children explored Walter Tull's story using a range of materials including film, the Walter Tull animation and artefacts relating to WW1. They completed activities from the Activity Pack (see resources); the session ended with questions and answers.
